UniCredit wanted to add geolocation features to its website, including a service to help customers find nearby branches, as well as a tool for linking users to information on the bank's products and services. In addition, UniCredit wanted to connect customers with consultant agents in different offices. A fundamental requirement was that all of these services be accessible and usable from mobile devices.
Unicredit introduced a Google Maps geolocator—when a user enters an address, the site displays the nearest branch, ATM, Business Center or Corporate office and all of the nearest Private Banking branches, along with a tool for estimating the fastest route to each location. The tool can be used on any device as the locator is integrated with UniCredit's Mobile Banking application. The application brings together the same services for private and corporate banking and can be used desktop and mobile devices.
- Implemented a geolocation system that displays bank location and services information on maps for users via desktop or mobile devices.
- Integrated a system that lets customers make appointments with branch agents and, at the same time, promoting the bank's offers.
